##  政府

印度尼西亞為總統制共和國，採行單一制，政治權力集中於中央政府。自1998年蘇哈托下台後，印度尼西亞政治及政府結構歷經大幅變革。人民協商會議進行了4次對於1945年憲法的修正案，調整了行政、立法、司法機構結構，修憲主要關於削弱總統權力、議會改革、國民教育、民族文化等議題。
